The 50/50 Shirt - CLASSIC TEE - Rolling Waves x Upstate Stock - NY to Nosara Wave

The worlds of Brooklyn, New York, and Nosara, Costa Rica, may seem far apart, but they're connected by what is playfully known as the "NY to Nosara pipeline." Over the past few years, Jarin Skube and Bram Robinson, founders of Rolling Waves and Upstate Stock respectively, have built a close friendship through a shared love of great coffee and a mutual belief that businesses can create meaningful communities.

Through chance meetings in each other's businesses, that connection grew into a shared appreciation for thoughtful branding, well-made goods, and the people who bring a place to life. What started as a friendship between two business owners has naturally evolved into a collaboration between two brands with a similar point of view.

To celebrate that connection, we've created a small capsule collection of tees inspired by both places. Printed here in New York on our signature 50/50 organic and recycled cotton T-shirts, made in the Finger Lakes, the designs capture a little of the spirit of Brooklyn and Nosara-and the unlikely connection between them. 100% made in NY State.

The 50/50 Tee: Now made in New York with our amazing non-profit partner, Mozaic Organization.

Using a half-upcycled, half-organic cotton yarn from the same mill we get our 100% upcycled cotton blend, we knit this unique fabric just for us, completely from scratch.

Coming in 3 colors of untreated natural, bleached white, and fabric-dyed black, we have made these 100% in the USA from start to finish, and now, as of 2025, they are cut, sewn, and finished in New York State.

With a weight of 5.9 ounces and pre-washed and dried, these tees are built for comfort and durability. Adding a 1930s shuttle loom USA-made label is the final touch in making these a new staple of the brand and a staple in your closet. 

Fit: These tees are standard-sized and even lean a bit wide in the arm and body but are not overly long.

Please allow 1-3 days to process an order, but if needed quicker, email before placing the order to confirm. Do not email after placing the order. We are a small company and do the best we can to ship in a timely manner. Please keep in mind that USPS shipping time-frames are not included in our stated processing time. Upstate Stock is not responsible for any packages lost or stolen that have been marked DELIVERED by USPS.

International Orders

All international deliveries are subject to the specific duties & taxes of the country they are being shipped to. Upstate Stock is not responsible for those charges & all purchasers should be aware of their countries regulations & fees. We look forward to the day in which we can cover these costs for our customers but we can not thank you enough for your patience & support until we reach that point.

Upstate Stock is not responsible for any lost shipments due to lack of duties paid, incorrect shipping information provided by the customer or missed delivery. Make sure to track your package if it is being held for duties.

We also would like to point out that USPS First Class International Mail DOES NOT include tracking once it leaves the USA. Use the same tracking number to track it in the receiving countries post. ie. put the USPS tracking in to LE POST tracking online if going to France.

Returns and Exchanges

Full returns on all gloves and hats. For exchanges, the customer is responsible for return postage. For returns, the customer is responsible for return postage and return will not include original postage. Must be in re-sellable condition with original tags. All other Upstate Stock products are exchange only. All sale non-Upstate Stock labeled products
